Changes in alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, and other substance use during the COVID-19 pandemic

Next publication on the European Survey on Alcohol and COVID-19 has been published in the journal Substance Abuse Treatment, Prevention, and Policy. The authors looked at changes in substance use in the 21 European countries of the first survey. Half of the respondents did not change their substance use. Of those who reported changes in substance use, more people decreased than increased their alcohol use, while the opposite was true for tobacco and cannabis use. Read the publication here.
